Densus 88 menangkap 11 tersangka terorisme dalam operasi bersamaan di enam provinsi termasuk Jawa Barat. Tersangka berusia 22-52 tahun dengan peran konsolidasi jaringan, pelatihan militer, dan rekrutmen.
Residents of Parakan Saat, Antapani, Bandung witnessed an unexpected scene on Friday morning. Around 9 AM, officers from Detasemen Khusus (Densus) 88 Antiteror arrived and surrounded a rented house in the densely populated residential area. They were searching for evidence after arresting a man on the street minutes earlier.
"The arrest happened on the street, then we went straight to search the house. When we searched, only his wife and two children were inside," said Agus, the neighborhood head, confirming the sequence of events.
The Bandung operation was part of a synchronized law enforcement action across six provinces. Densus 88 arrested 11 suspects simultaneously in West Java, Central Java, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Riau, and North Maluku. The arrests began on Friday, with the last operation confirmed on Sunday.

The suspects range in age from 22 to 52 years old. They are identified as HN (43), SM alias NM (52), HA (45), YDKAP (22), Y (36), S (49), A (32), CG (29), MF (37), AF (26), and MW (42). The identities were released by Densus 88 spokesperson Commissioner Mayndra Eka Wardhana.
Densus 88 found connections between suspects across different regions. One pattern involved virtual meetings linking supporters of Daulah Islamiyah from several areas. These online gatherings served as spaces for indoctrination, network consolidation, and member development.
"The suspects' roles included network consolidation, training activities, propaganda distribution, and recruitment both directly and through social media, up to involvement in conspiracy to commit terrorism," Mayndra stated.

The investigation uncovered evidence of paramilitary training among some suspects. The training reportedly included physical exercises and shooting practice. Officers also seized evidence from searches conducted at multiple locations.
"The investigation team will thoroughly examine the evidence found and the connections between each suspect with other individuals or networks," Mayndra added. The suspects remain in custody as police continue developing the case.
